Informal discussion on the challenges founders face
Founders’ Hour offers an informal discussion space on the challenges founders (or about-to-be founders) face: setting up a team, business & sustainable growth, branding, marketing, advisory board recruitment, governance, technology USP, customer profile, ethics, or whatever other issues emerge.
All Homerton students are welcome, even if you are at a very early stage of entrepreneurship.
Last Thursday each month from 5-6pm from Easter Term, facilitated by Dr Soraya Jones. Either drop by the Macaulay Room at 5pm or request a Zoom link by emailing changemakers@homerton.cam.ac.uk (latest two days before the date).
[25 May hybrid online/in person in the Macaulay Room.)
One of the only certain things when you’re starting an enterprise is that there will be uncertainty: about what to do, how to deal with challenges you couldn’t have predicted, and about what’s required of you as you lead.
This event is facilitated by Dr Soraya Jones (Changemakers’ Director of Engagement and Operations, and Royal Society Entrepreneur in Residence, hosted by UEA) on the last Thursday of the month.
The format will be an open discussion where anyone can ask a question and the group can help brainstorm and discuss possible answers. All Homerton students are welcome, even if you are at a very early stage of entrepreneurship. We can always learn from the experience of others….
Please email changemakers@homerton.cam.ac.uk if you would like the Zoom link. Or drop by the Macaulay room on the day.
Location: Macaulay room, Homerton College, Hills Road, Cambridge CB2 8PH (and online)
