Turning Ideas into Therapies: an opportunity to connect with a leading therapeutics investor Curie.Bio

Join the Milner Therapeutics Institute and Cambridge Enterprise for a seminar showcase and networking event with the leadership team at US venture firm Curie.Bio.

Curie.Bio is a US venture capital firm and accelerator that helps founders discover and develop novel therapeutics. The company was created with the aim of removing the typical bottlenecks and boundaries that get in the way of creating drugs. To achieve this, the company collaborates closely with founders to reach better milestones in initial funding rounds, which in turn increase founders’ probabilities of success.

At this event, Christoph Lengauer, Founder and CSO, and members of the leadership team will showcase Curie.Bio’s differentiated approach including how they collaborate with founders, illustrated by a Q&A with Prof Gabriel Balmus, Group Leader at the UK Dementia Institute and CEO at FunctionRx. The company is working on discovering oral small molecule targeting MSH3 to halt Huntington‘s disease and other repeat expansion disorders at a very early stage.

During the networking lunch session, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about research with potential translational applications being carried out by University researchers, while also building valuable connections for future collaboration.

Registration is free but compulsory. Attendee information will be shared with the Milner Therapeutics Institute and with Cambridge Enterprise.
