Accelerate @ Babraham

Accelerate@Babraham is the Babraham Research Campus pre‑seed programme supporting early‑stage life science ventures.

Founded in 2018, the programme brings together scientific, business, and investor expertise to help founders develop and scale new ideas in a complex and fast‑moving sector. Participants benefit from a structured support offer, including mentorship, technical and commercial guidance, lab space, and access to a strong investor network.

Each year, a small cohort of early‑stage ventures joins the Campus through a competitive programme, combining a taught curriculum with hands‑on support and integration into the Babraham ecosystem. This includes a 8‑week training programme, up to 10 months of lab space, and non‑dilutive funding.

Based within one of Europe’s leading life science clusters, Accelerate@Babraham provides access to a collaborative community of researchers, companies, and industry partners, helping ventures build the skills, connections, and confidence needed to progress their science and business.
