Bridges for Enterprise | Cambridge Chapter Social Innovation Incubation
Bridges for Enterprise (BfE) is a global non‑profit supporting early‑stage social enterprises to become investment‑ready and scale their impact.
Its flagship Incubation Programme provides structured, pro bono advisory support to pre‑seed and seed‑stage ventures, delivered remotely over 6–8 months. Designed to fit alongside day‑to‑day operations, the programme connects founders with student teams and experienced mentors offering practical, tailored guidance.
All participating startups first complete a consulting engagement focused on addressing key business challenges, such as growth strategy, operations, or impact measurement. This is followed by a finance advisory engagement to strengthen fundraising readiness, including revenue planning, funding strategy, and investor positioning. Each stage typically lasts 3–4 months. Additional legal and technical advisory support is available where required, depending on the startup’s needs.
The programme is aimed at social enterprises that are already operating, with an existing product or service and early revenue. It particularly supports ventures in regions with more limited access to mentorship and funding networks, helping founders build both financial sustainability and measurable impact.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, with suggested deadlines in April and October for cohort consideration.
