Cambridge Global Challenges (CGC)

Cambridge Global Challenges (CGC) is a Strategic Research Initiative (SRI) of the University of Cambridge focused on addressing the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the Global South. It currently focusses on three main research themes: Climate Adaptation, Youth & Work and Post-COVID/ Pandemic preparedness.

CGC supports the partnerships and the work of academic researchers and implementers who, together, can successfully deliver research projects that respond to the challenges faced by communities in the Global South. The implementation of some of this research is achieved by Southern-led entrepreneurial approaches.
