CUTEC Cambridge University Technology and Enterprise Club
Cambridge University Technology and Enterprise Club (CUTEC) is a student‑run society focused on technology‑led entrepreneurship at the University of Cambridge.
Founded in 2003, CUTEC connects students and researchers with entrepreneurs, investors, and industry leaders, helping to bridge academic innovation with real‑world venture creation. Its activities are centred around events, workshops, and networking opportunities that provide exposure to commercialization, fundraising, and the wider startup ecosystem.
CUTEC’s flagship event, the Technology Ventures Conference, brings together founders, corporates, and investors to explore the development of deep‑tech innovations and their path to market. Alongside this, CUTEC runs competitions and challenges that give participants hands‑on experience in venture analysis, market research, and early‑stage investment thinking.
By combining community, practical learning, and access to industry networks, CUTEC plays a key role in fostering technology entrepreneurship within Cambridge.
