MTF – Innovation Programme

The Innovation Programme is a four-month educational programme that introduces medical device development and provides experience of interdisciplinary teamwork. Small teams of students and early career researchers and clinicians work to solve a real-life problem identified by clinical partners. Interactive workshops and small-group mentoring cover approaches to clinical problems, concept generation, effective teamwork, business model development, and pitching.

Teams produce an Executive Summary and pitch their ideas to a panel of judges from academia, industry, and clinical practice. The Innovation Programme is open to students at the University of Cambridge, Anglia Ruskin University and junior clinicians at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Trust. You can register interest for the Innovation Programme when applications open in Autumn.
