MTF offers students of all stages and disciplines the chance to learn about medical technology development in a real world setting, through our Innovation Programme and MEDx.
The MedTech Foundation is the student and trainee divisions of an NIHR research initiative known as MedTech and In-vitro Diagnostic Co-operatives (MICs). The MICs aim to incubate, integrate and accelerate the development of technologies which address the unmet needs of NHS patients.
The Cambridge MedTech Foundation exists as part of the Cambridge Brain Injury MIC. We are an interdisciplinary group of students, trainees and academics from medicine, engineering, computer science, life sciences and business backgrounds aiming to foster the spirit of enterprise in the next generation of MedTech innovators. We do so by offering our participants the chance to learn about medical technology in a real world setting.
At the Cambridge MedTech Foundation, we believe that educating and enthusing the next generation of clinicians, scientists, researchers and industry representatives is vital if we are to improve the translation of technologies for patient benefit.
