The Cambridge Social Innovation Prize is an award programme run by the Cambridge Centre for Social Innovation (Cambridge Judge Business School) in partnership with Trinity Hall.
It recognises and supports mid‑career social innovators across the UK who have demonstrated a strong track record of impact and are looking to grow their leadership and scale their work. The prize is designed to fill a gap between early‑career and lifetime achievement awards, focusing on individuals at a key stage of development.
Each year, up to four winners receive a £10,000 award to support their personal and professional development. This can be used flexibly, including for training, further study, travel, or time to reflect and develop new ideas. The prize is not intended as direct business funding, but as an investment in the individual behind the organisation.
In addition to funding, winners receive tailored business support and mentoring from Cambridge Social Ventures, alongside access to networks across the University of Cambridge and the wider social impact ecosystem. Support may include strategic advice, introductions, and connections to collaborators, advisors, and other opportunities.
By combining funding, mentoring, and access to networks, the Cambridge Social Innovation Prize supports experienced leaders to strengthen their capabilities and expand the impact of their work.
