KQ Labs Accelerator A data-driven health accelerator providing funding, mentoring, and investor access
KQ Labs is a five‑month accelerator programme run by the Francis Crick Institute, supporting early‑stage startups that use data science to improve human health.
The programme focuses on ventures working at the intersection of biomedical research and data science, including areas such as AI‑driven drug discovery, precision medicine, diagnostics, and digital health. It is designed to help founders validate their ideas, develop strong business strategies, and prepare for further investment.
KQ Labs combines funding with structured support. Participating startups receive investment alongside a tailored curriculum of workshops, mentoring, and introductions to industry, pharma partners, and investors. Founders also gain access to a broader network of experts and collaborators within the UK and global health ecosystem.
The programme begins with an intensive bootcamp and continues with weekly sessions covering topics such as business models, fundraising, regulatory strategy, and market access. It culminates in a Demo Day where companies present to investors and partners.
By integrating scientific expertise with commercial support, KQ Labs plays an important role in advancing data‑driven health innovation in the UK.
